Flexible options to suit projects of every size and scope.
The best option when you have a clear vision and defined scope. A project quote gives you a fixed price built around your specific requirements.
To put together an accurate quote, it helps to know: the type of event or content required, the expected filming duration, the number of locations involved, and what you'd like as a final deliverable (e.g. a highlight reel, full-length video, social cuts). The more detail you can provide, the more tailored your quote will be.
Request a QuotePrefer flexibility, or still working out the details? An hourly rate may suit you better. Our hourly rate is charged door to door — from the moment we leave to the moment we return. This includes all travel time and is the same rate for filming and editing.
It's important to factor in that editing typically takes 2 to 3 times longer than the filming itself. A 2-hour event could require 4 to 6 hours of post-production. We'll always give you an honest estimate before starting. Contact us to discuss current hourly rates.
Discuss RatesThere's no flat overhead charge. You'll only ever pay for what the project actually requires — things like travel and planning time where applicable, but nothing on top of that.
It depends on the project. Smaller projects and hourly bookings generally won't require a deposit, but larger projects — particularly those involving significant travel — may. This will be discussed and agreed upon at the quoting stage.
Payment is generally due 14 days after delivery, unless a deposit has been arranged as part of the project agreement.
Scope changes are always accommodated, but will always affect the price. For hourly bookings, the additional time is simply charged. For project quotes, the quote will need to be redrawn and approved before work continues.
Yes, provided nothing changes in the scope or requirements. Minor changes may incur small additional fees in line with the hourly rate, while major changes will require a new quote to be drawn up and approved.
Any time spent working on the project after commencement. Early conversations, quoting, and initial discussions are not billable — but planning, travel, filming, editing, and any consultation time once the project is underway all are.
No. It simply comes down to the time required to complete the project.
Hours are tracked while working and reported on the invoice, broken down into sections — for example, planning, filming and travel, footage processing, and editing. You'll always have a clear picture of where the time went.
It depends on how the project is billed. For hourly bookings, any additional time will be reflected on the invoice. For project quotes, no additional charge applies provided the details provided at quoting were accurate — if the change is due to incorrect information, additional fees may apply. In either case, you'll always be notified before any additional costs are incurred, and where possible we'll suggest ways to avoid cost overruns.
For hourly bookings, yes — travel is charged from the moment we leave to the moment we return. For project quotes, expected travel time is built into the quote upfront. Special circumstances apply when overnight accommodation is required.
Yes. For travel outside Brisbane that doesn't require an overnight stay, costs are based on expected travel time. Where overnight accommodation is required, additional charges will apply to cover accommodation and a small additional fee. Exact costs are discussed on a project by project basis.
For hourly bookings, revisions are simply charged at the standard hourly rate. For project quotes, revision terms are included in the quote — additional revisions beyond those included may incur further costs in line with the hourly rate.
We aim to be as transparent as possible. The things you can generally expect to pay for are planning and consultation, travel, filming, post-production, and revisions. As a rule of thumb, post-production typically takes two to three times the filming duration — while this varies depending on deliverables, it's a reliable figure for budgeting purposes. Situation-specific estimates can always be provided, even for hourly projects.
We shoot in Blackmagic RAW, which is a flat, uncompressed format that requires specific software to view and results in project sizes of at least several hundred gigabytes — so we don't provide RAW files as a matter of course. Instead, after shooting we trim, colour grade, and store the usable footage for at least 12 months. This processed footage library is generally far more useful and can usually be provided at no additional cost. If the original RAW files are required, this can be arranged but will likely incur an additional fee due to the size of the data transfer involved.
